Terms of Service

1. Definitions

In these Terms, the following words have the specific meanings set out below:

• "Platform" means the website at beginforever.in, the web application at beginforever.app, and any associated mobile applications or services operated by Begin Forever.
• "Begin Forever" / "we" / "us" / "our" refers to Begin Forever, a brand of Kyomi, with its registered office in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
• "Member" / "you" / "user" refers to any individual who registers for and uses the Platform.
• "Profile" means the personal page created by a Member containing their personal, faith, and contact information.
• "Interest" means a formal expression of romantic interest sent by one Member to another through the Platform.
• "Subscription" means a paid access plan (Monthly, Quarterly, or Yearly) that unlocks additional Platform features.
• "Content" means all text, photos, messages, information, and other materials submitted by Members to the Platform.
• "Verified Member" means a Member whose identity has been confirmed through government-issued ID verification and whose profile has been approved by Begin Forever administrators.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to register on or use the Platform. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older. If we discover that a Member is under 18, their account will be immediately and permanently suspended without notice and all associated data deleted.

2.2 Legal Capacity

You must have the full legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the laws of India. If you are registering on behalf of another person (e.g. a son or daughter), you confirm that you have their explicit consent and that the candidate meets the age requirement.

2.3 Marital Status

You must not be currently married or in a civil union unless you are legally separated, divorced, or widowed and can provide documentation if requested. Misrepresenting your marital status is grounds for immediate permanent ban.

2.4 Geographic Scope

The Platform is primarily intended for users based in India. Members residing outside India may register but must comply with all applicable laws in their country of residence in addition to these Terms.

3. Account Registration & Verification

3.1 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update your information promptly if it changes. Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information — including name, age, photos, religion, marital status, or location — is a serious violation of these Terms and will result in immediate permanent account termination.

3.2 Government ID Verification

All Members are required to submit a valid, government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving Licence, or Passport) for identity verification. Your profile will not be approved and will not be visible to other Members until this verification is completed and approved by our team. ID documents are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and are never shown to other Members.

3.3 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your password with any other person. You must notify us immediately at info@beginforever.in if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account. Begin Forever is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account credentials.

3.4 One Account Per Person

Each individual may hold only one account on the Platform. Creating multiple accounts is prohibited and will result in all associated accounts being permanently suspended.

3.5 Admin Approval

Profile publication on the Platform is subject to manual review and approval by Begin Forever administrators. We reserve the right to reject any profile that does not meet our community standards, without providing a reason.

4. Platform Purpose & Scope

Begin Forever is a matrimony platform — its sole purpose is to facilitate genuine introductions between individuals seeking a life partner. The Platform is not intended for casual dating, friendship, networking, or any commercial activity. Any use of the Platform for purposes other than matrimonial matching is prohibited.

Begin Forever is open to members of all faiths including Christian, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Jain, Buddhist, and others. Members retain full control over their faith-based filtering preferences, determining which faith groups they wish to browse and from whom they receive interest requests.

5. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

5.1 Strictly Prohibited

• Creating a fake, false, or misleading profile
• Impersonating any person or entity
• Uploading photos of someone other than yourself as your profile photo
• Misrepresenting your religion, denomination, age, marital status, educational qualifications, or occupation
• Soliciting or accepting money, gifts, or financial favours from other Members
• Using the Platform for any commercial, advertising, or promotional purpose
• Sending unsolicited bulk messages to Members
• Harassing, threatening, stalking, abusing, or intimidating any Member
• Sharing, distributing, or publishing any Member's personal information, photos, or messages outside the Platform without explicit consent
• Screenshotting, downloading, or redistributing another Member's photos or messages
• Using automated bots, scripts, scrapers, or any automated means to access the Platform
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, hack, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform
• Uploading malware, viruses, or any harmful code
• Circumventing, disabling, or interfering with security features of the Platform
• Using the Platform in any way that violates applicable Indian law or the laws of your country of residence

5.2 Content Standards

You must not post or transmit content that:

• Is sexually explicit, obscene, or pornographic
• Is abusive, hateful, discriminatory, or promotes violence against any individual or group
• Is defamatory, libellous, or invades another person's privacy
• Promotes or glorifies illegal activity
• Contains religious hate speech or incites communal violence
• Infringes any third party's intellectual property rights

6. Profile Standards

• Your primary profile photo must be a clear, recent, solo photograph of yourself (face clearly visible).
• You may upload up to 5 photos. All photos must be of yourself, must be decent, and must not contain explicit, inappropriate, or misleading content.
• Profile information must be accurate and kept up to date. If your circumstances change (e.g. you get married), you must immediately close your account.
• Begin Forever reserves the right to remove any photo or content that violates these standards, and to suspend accounts that repeatedly submit non-compliant content.

7. Messaging & Communication Rules

• In-app messaging is only available between Members who have mutually accepted each other's interest requests.
• All messages must be respectful, decent, and in keeping with the matrimonial purpose of the Platform.
• You must not use the messaging system to share your personal phone number, email, or social media handles until you are comfortable doing so.
• You must not send threatening, abusive, sexually explicit, or harassing messages to any Member.
• Begin Forever reserves the right to review messages reported by Members for safety purposes. We do not proactively monitor private messages.
• Any Member who receives abusive, threatening, or inappropriate messages should report the sender immediately using the in-app reporting feature or by emailing info@beginforever.in.

8. Subscriptions, Payments & Refunds

8.1 Subscription Plans

Begin Forever offers three subscription plans: Monthly (₹499), Quarterly (₹1,299), and Yearly (₹2,599). Subscription fees grant access to premium Platform features for the stated period.

8.2 Founding Member Offer

The first 300 verified members who join during the founding member period will receive 1 week of complimentary premium access. This offer is non-transferable, has no cash value, and is available only once per Member.

8.3 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. Begin Forever does not store your credit/debit card details. Payment is subject to Razorpay's terms and conditions.

8.4 Refund Policy

• Subscriptions are non-refundable once activated, except where required by applicable law.
• If Begin Forever permanently suspends your account due to a violation of these Terms, no refund will be issued for any remaining subscription period.
• If technical issues on our end prevent you from accessing paid features for more than 72 consecutive hours, you may request a pro-rated credit. Refund requests must be submitted to info@beginforever.in within 7 days of the issue.
• Subscriptions do not auto-renew. You must manually renew your subscription at the end of each period.

8.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. You will be notified of any price changes at least 30 days in advance. Existing subscriptions are not affected by price changes until the current subscription period expires.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform created by Begin Forever — including but not limited to the logo, brand name, design, code, text, graphics, and features — is the exclusive property of Begin Forever (Kyomi) and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

By uploading content (photos, bio, messages) to the Platform, you grant Begin Forever a non-exclusive, royalty-free, limited licence to store and display your content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform. You retain full ownership of all content you upload. This licence terminates when you delete the content or close your account.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy. We comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

11. Suspension & Termination

11.1 By Begin Forever

Begin Forever reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account at any time, with or without prior notice, if we determine (at our sole discretion) that a Member has:

• Violated any provision of these Terms
• Provided false or misleading information
• Engaged in behaviour harmful to other Members or the Platform community
• Been reported by multiple Members for misconduct
• Used the Platform for any non-matrimonial commercial purpose
• Failed to complete identity verification within 30 days of registration

Permanently banned accounts will not be eligible for re-registration under any name, email, or device.

11.2 By the Member

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at info@beginforever.in. Upon account closure, your profile will be immediately hidden from other Members, and your personal data will be deleted within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Any outstanding subscription will not be refunded. Sections 9, 12, 13, and 14 of these Terms survive termination.

12. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Begin Forever is a matrimony introduction platform. We facilitate introductions between verified Members but do not guarantee, endorse, or take responsibility for:

• The accuracy, completeness, or truthfulness of any Member's profile information
• The conduct, intentions, or character of any Member
• The outcome of any introduction, meeting, or relationship arising from the Platform
• Any loss, harm, or damage arising from your interactions with other Members, whether online or offline

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive for 24/7 availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or technical failures beyond our reasonable control.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Begin Forever's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Begin Forever, its parent company Kyomi, its directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms
• Your Content submitted to the Platform
• Your interactions (online or offline) with any other Member
• Any misrepresentation made by you in your profile or communications

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

14.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India.

14.3 Grievance Resolution

Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute amicably by contacting our Grievance Officer at info@beginforever.in. We will endeavour to resolve the matter within 30 days of receiving your complaint.

15. Amendments

Begin Forever reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify registered Members by email and update the "Last updated" date on this page. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform and close your account.

16. Contact & Grievance Officer

By using Begin Forever, you acknowledge that you have read these Terms of Service in full and agree to be bound by them.
